#1: Blogs- Love Them or Hate Them?

After looking through multiple blogs, I found one I liked, one I loved, and one I simply hated.

First there's Google, Google was alright. I liked the information that the blog gives. Some of it is very informative and other parts are more for entertainment.
Either way, I still though it was a little too plain for my liking. As you can see from my blog I LOVE color! Google's blog is black and white, simple but informative. Now there's nothing wrong with that, but don't get me wrong, a little color has never hurt anyone.

Then, I came across the blog Whole Foods Market. I really enjoyed this blog; you could say that I LOVED it. There are pictures of the food their recipes (if followed correctly) will make, they have detailed recipes with any additional information you might need, they include healthy recipes for many different occasions and above all, there's COLOR!

Lastly, there's McDonald's Blog, I'm NOT lovin' it. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against McDonald's, but their blog is simply horrendous. Sure they have some color, and although it's one of the reasons why I gravitate towards one blog over another, it isn't the only thing that makes a good blog. Blogs need good and or interesting information for their readers, they need a purpose, and a way to interact with their audience whether it may through videos, links, pictures, or all three of them, point is there needs to be something there. McDonald's blog has none but one, they have a purpose. Their purpose is to make themselves look good. Saying things like, "From the start, we've been committed to doing the right thing."Overall, I despise this blog and I doubt I will ever visit it again, this was a one time thing.
